Important Things to Know About Selling on Walmart

Non-Direct Dropship Products

This integration will not affect the listings you already have listed on your account. However, Walmart matches items to their catalog based on GTIN/UPC. If you carry some of the same brands as us, it is possible for you to try to list items already in your Walmart Seller Account. The upload will simply flag this and skip that item. It is important to note that there will not be any changes to those items as your SKU # will not match the SKU you already have associated with that GTIN/UPC.

Shipping Templates

We are unable to adjust your shipping settings via this tool. Instead, you will simply select the fulfillment center you want our items to ship from when uploading. See Fulfillment Center Setup in your Walmart Seller Center Account for more information. Walmart will create a default Fulfillment Center for you when creating your account. If this will suffice, no changes are necessary.

You will be able to offer free shipping to anywhere in the continental US (lower 48 states) with this integration. We do not ship to HI, AK, PR, or outside the US. Make sure your shipping settings reflect this accordingly.

If you do want to ship outside of these areas, we can ship to your location if you are located in the US, and then you can ship directly to your customer. If you do this, make sure to set your shipping settings accordingly to account for the shipping cost from you to your customer.

Prohibited Products

We do our best to keep our Restricted Items list updated so that you do not have to worry about listing products on Walmart that are not allowed. However, considering the number of new products/brands being added to Walmart’s Prohibited Products list, sometimes an item may get through that is not allowed.

These products will automatically be set to an “Items with Errors” status. If there are a large number of items being flagged as such, please notify us immediately so we can resolve the issue and remove them from your integration.

Unpublished Items

It is not uncommon for some items to be flagged with an “Unpublished” status. This is not a violation of your account or anything to worry about. This just means your price of the item falls outside of Walmart’s preferred price range for that product. You do not need to take any action for this since default pricing is calculated based on a 10% profit margin.
