How to Revise Your Listings in Bulk:
Once your listings are live, they will need to be monitored to ensure the sales price remains profitable and the quantity is accurate. We recommend updating your listings once per day, but you can update your listings as often, or as little, as you want. Again, we will be focusing on eBay’s file upload process to update your listings.
Important: eBay requires that your Listing ID is included in your file upload. Your Listing IDs will need to be added to the file in order to accurately update your listings. See How to Download Your Active Listings above
Note: Our Revision File includes all products eligible for eBay. Additionally, both in-stock and out-of-stock items are included in the file. If there is no change in price/stock levels, you do not need to revise that listing.
- Download our Revision file above
- Add your eBay Listing IDs to Column B – See downloading your listings for more info
- Remove all SKUs that do not contain a Listing ID
- Remove all SKUs where the selling price or quantity has not changed
- Save your spreadsheet as a CSV (comma-delimited) file
- Navigate to your Reports tab under your Seller Hub on eBay – Click here to learn how
- Click on Start Upload
- A popup will open. Click Choose File
- Find the file you just saved and click Open
- In the bottom left of your screen, you will see the progress of that upload.
You have just revised the listing in your eBay account! Once complete, you will be able to download a file that contains a status update of the newly revised listings.
