Important Things to Know About Selling on Amazon

 Amazon Professional Sellers Account

In order to manage your products on Amazon via upload or external software, an Amazon Professional seller's account is required. If you are just starting out, or only wish to list a small number of items, an Individual Seller's account will work. We have included instructions on how to list with an Individual account in our Listing Instructions.

Non-Direct Dropship Products

This Amazon Integration will only affect listings you submit via Direct Dropship and will have no effect on other listings, you may have from other sources.

ASIN Number Matching

100% ASIN accuracy – guaranteed!

We have an in-house custom ASIN matching team to ensure you’re listing against the correct products. We do this so that you don't list a phone case from our site that belongs to an ASIN for a swimming pool on Amazon.

We guarantee that all products are 100% match at the time we match to an ASIN. However, it is important to note that all sellers are given the power to modify any listing (ASIN) at any time. This can influence the listings you wish to sell on, sometimes drastically. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you review your listings to make sure you are selling the correct item. If you come across any inaccurate matches, please report them to us so we can correct the issue.

Shipping Settings

We are unable to adjust your shipping settings via this integration. You will need to set your shipping settings directly in your Amazon Seller Central account. You will be able to offer free shipping to anywhere in the continental US (lower 48 states) with this integration. Make sure your shipping settings reflect accordingly.

If you do want to ship outside of these areas, we can ship to your location if you are located in the US, and then you can ship directly to your customer. If you do this, make sure to set your shipping settings accordingly to account for the shipping cost from you to your customer.

Product Violations and Intellectual Property:

We do our best to keep our Restricted Items list updated so that you do not have to worry about listing products on Amazon that are not allowed. However, considering the of new products/brands being added to Amazon’s restricted list, sometimes an item may get through that is not allowed.

If you receive a violation notice from Amazon, please forward it to us immediately so that we can look into it and either resolve the issue or we will block the item so that it cannot be sent to Amazon again.

Pricing Error Emails from Amazon

It is common for Amazon to send you an email with the subject of a Pricing Error. This is not a violation of your account or anything to worry about. This just means your price of the item falls outside of Amazon's average price range for that product. You do not need to take any action for this since your default pricing is calculated to include a 10% profit margin.

Upgrade: Alternatively, you can sign up for our Custom Amazon Integration where we can automatically set a unique profit margin for you - either by category or for all products.
