How to List Products on Shopify

How to Add Products in Bulk:

New products can be added to your Shopify account in any number of ways. This includes manually adding

products, bulk listing products, and using inventory management software. We will be focusing on how

to add products to your Shopify account in bulk via their bulk import process.

1. Download all eligible products using the inventory file link included with your subscription.

You will upload this file to Shopify in Step 5.

2. Login to your Shopify admin panel

3. Go to Products by clicking the Products link from the left menu

4. Click Import, this will open a popup box

5. Click Add file, and then select the CSV file that you downloaded in Step 1. (or feed files if feed

has been split into multiple files of size < 20 MB)                       

Optional: 1. If you want to publish new products only to your online store instead of to all

of your sales channels, then deselect Publish new products to all sales channels.

Optional: 2. If you already have products loaded on your website, it will show you

Overwrite existing products that have the same handle. Existing values will be used for any

missing columns.

6. Click Upload and continue.

7. Review the details about the import, and then click Import products.

8. After the import completes you will receive a confirmation email from Shopify at the email

account used to set up your Shopify store. You will also be able to see a list of the products that

were uploaded.

 Congratulations, you are done!

Important: Never use the same inventory file more than once. You will need to repeat the above steps

each time you want to update your products. We recommend at least once a day if you have a lot of

products, but you may update more often if needed. Each time you update, it will sync your Shopify

inventory with our inventory.

Alternative Ways to List:

If you do not wish to create listings via Import Products, there are a couple of alternate ways to create

listings - manually adding products and using external inventory management software

Manually Create Listings

This is helpful if you only want to list some products in your account. To do this, you can navigate to

Products in your Shopify admin. To list a product you would like to sell, you can copy and paste the

information from one of our inventory files. Follow the on-screen prompts on Shopify.

Using an External Inventory Management Software

An Inventory Management Software is separate software designed to manage and sync inventory

between multiple marketplaces. A lot of these also give you the ability to create products right from

within the software. There is a lot of inventory software out there, and they all behave similarly. We can
